Spectra

Inspired by the cosmic radiation left behind by the Big Bang, SPECTRA is a conceptual 35mm film designed to capture the essence of the universe. Its translucent canisters and name reference the spectral patterns of the Cosmic Microwave Background—an echo of the cosmos, reimagined for analog photography.

Collaborated with the Art Gallery of Mississauga on a research-led project to build empathy and drive support for refugee resettlement in Canada. Used storytelling and strategy to shift perception and inspire action.

PROFILE

Hi, I’m Luca. I’m a product designer focused on building interactive experiences that are both fun and easy to use. For the last five years, I’ve been working in startups, turning new ideas into reality while keeping designs true to each brand’s unique identity.

I enjoy working with small, fast-paced teams, taking projects from scrappy MVPs to high-fidelity designs, and experimenting with coding prototypes to bring ideas to life. At heart, I believe in simple, effective design that delivers on the customer’s needs.
